Clare Kennedy, Massage Therapist

Having benefited from various complementary therapies throughout my own life, for relaxation and maintenance as well as for rehabilitation purposes, I am a firm believer in the positive effects that massage can have on a person as a whole, mind, body and soul, in working towards restoring balance and well-being.

After 10 years of working in the corporate art world, a change in direction in order to pursue a more people focused career came at the perfect time for me. I had always had an interest in complementary therapies and began my training in massage with the Scottish Massage Schools. It is a very different path to the one I was on previously but I am constantly inspired by the satisfaction that it gives me to work in this field.

Having completed a Swedish Massage Diploma in 2015, I have since trained in Pregnancy Massage with Knot Stressed and I am currently completing my Remedial and Sports Massage Therapy Diploma. I am committed to building on my training in order to develop further as a therapist and learn more about how to help people. I am always looking to expand my knowledge and gain skills and techniques through CPD courses and workshops. I recently took part in an Indian Head Massage workshop and I am particularly keen to explore Postnatal Massage as well as Hands Free Massage in the coming months. The list is ever growing though!

I tailor my treatments to suit the needs of each individual client so that we work together towards achieving their treatment goals. I use a variety of techniques in order to provide a holistic treatment that can be purely for stress relief and relaxation, or to target more specific areas of tension or discomfort.

I am fully insured and I am also a member of the Scottish Massage Therapists Organisation.
