Postnatal Massage Therapy Course - 10 CPD Points
Upcoming Courses in 2012:
- 9-10 June at Edinburgh Academy Junior School
- 17-18 November at Edinburgh Academy Junior School
After one of the most exhilarating, physically demanding and sometimes exhausting events in a woman’s life, there could not be a more perfect time for massage therapy.
Postnatal Massage is one of the most rewarding experiences in the field of massage. Through this course you will be able to recognise and help to resolve the many musculoskeletal and phsyiological issues created by pregnancy, childbirth and the childcare activities.
We will look at positioning, contraindications and techniques to help restore and maintain the mother’s wellbeing.
You will also learn about working with a postnatal woman on a holistic level including tools for relaxation, calmness, self-confidence and how to advise on postnatal care and support.
This course, although designed as a standalone course, is an ideal partner to the Pregnancy Massage Course. We also recommend the purchase of Pre-and Perinatal Massage by Carole Osborne-Sheets.
