Parent and Baby Group

Come along to this relaxed, informal group to enjoy the company of other parents and babies in a friendly environment with fun activities and interesting chat.

All parents with babies aged 0 years to crawling and toddling (around 1.5 years) are welcome.

Each session will include a sing-along and story for the wee ones at the start and end of the session. Depending on the age of the little ones we may get the musical instruments out for a 'bash-along'.

In all sessions there will be plenty of time for informal chat while the little ones play with the toys and puppets - and of course lots of juice, biscuits and cake! 

We will endeavour to invite some interesting guest speakers to lead discussions and activities when we can.  

The group is facilitated by either Onie (with the help of her nearly 3 year old, Mairin) or Frances. We list the weeks we facilitate, along with any upcoming highlights, in the calendar below.

Sessions take place every Tuesday at Calton Centre from: 10am-11am.

We aim to limit the sessions to between 5-15 parents and wee ones so that we can keep the calm, relaxed feel of the group.

Parents are invited to drop-in on a weekly basis of

£3 per week.  No need to let us know in advance - just pop in!
