Injury Prevention through Hands Free Massage - Stages 1 and 2

Injury Prevention through Hands Free Massage

Upcoming Courses in 2012:

  • 18-19 August at Edinburgh Academy Junior School

Hands Free Massage has been designed to ensure that we all continue to enjoy and provide effective treatments for our clients until we choose to retire rather than being forced to retire early. These exciting techniques involve the use of various parts of the forearm, elbow and other parts of the body. They have been taken from both ancient and modern disciplines including, Slavic, Tai Chi, Body Sculpting, Sports & Remedial and Deep Tissue Massage allowing you to perform a safe full body treatment. The workshop is not only enjoyable but will also address and prevent injuries caused by repetitive strain and postural problems. Far from making your hands redundant, however, this form of massage keeps your hands pain free and healthy, allowing you to maintain the subtleties of touch that create the most powerful connection and exchange of energy between two people.

The first course will be an intensive practical, concentrating on body positioning and movement, with a broad range of strokes which will allow you to flow smoothly and work deeply into the large muscle groups not only with ease and comfort but without the fear of injury.

Course cost: £200
