The Fertile Body Method
Fertility is something that many of us take for granted. But it’s estimated that one in every six UK couples has difficulty conceiving. This often leads to feelings of failure, stress, anger and confusion, creating a cycle of self-doubt that is far from supportive.
We understand the impact infertility has on your health, and your life. Using Fertile Body Method techniques, such as deep relaxation and hypnotherapy, we can help you deal with the effects of fertility problems and make changes that can help positively impact your fertility, whatever path to parenthood you decide to follow.
The FBM can enhance fertility by:
-
Reducing stress and increasing feelings of calm and relaxation
-
Restoring physical, mental and emotional balance and wellbeing
-
Identifying and resolving issues that may be preventing conception e.g. fears about pregnancy, birth and parenthood, previous miscarriage or birth trauma
-
Helping you prepare for conception, whether it be naturally or by artificial reproductive therapies such as IVF
-
Providing support along the path to parenthood, whatever turns it may take.

What does it involve?
The Fertile Body Method (FBM) is a mind-body approach to fertility that is based on a holistic health model. It uses hypnosis in many of its techniques and approaches.
Hypnosis is a very powerful, effective and well-recognised therapeutic tool. It utilises a trance-like state of absorption to facilitate inner change, which can impact positively on physical wellbeing, and fertility.
Your FBM treatment will be tailored to your specific needs. In your first session, we will help you to identify what beneficial changes could be made in your life to help enhance your fertility and help you deal more effectively with the effects that fertility problems are having on your life.
Once your needs and goals have been clearly identified, a treatment plan can be created to ensure that you get the maximum benefit from the therapy. The number of sessions required varies between 3 and 6, depending on your specific needs.
