Baby Signing in Edinburgh
These are relaxed, informal and fun sessions for parents and babies. A great way to make friends!
All the signs taught through our course are British Sign Language signs, so you will also learn the basis of a new language. By the end of the six-week course you will feel confident using around 100 key signs with your baby.

What is Baby Signing?
A fun way to discover the wonderful world of baby signing through songs, stories, rhymes and games! Signing is a wonderful way to communicate with your little one before they can talk.
Each week we will take you both on different adventures through our songs and stories - to the park, the zoo, the farm and maybe even the seaside. It's fantastic fun!
Babies use signs and gestures as a natural part of learning to talk. By teaching extra signs, such as for milk, tired, and nappy, you will help reduce frustration (their's and yours!), encourage them to recognise important words and 'talk' to you before speech.
Baby signing is widely recognised by speech and language experts as helping to encourage development of a child's speech.
Our classes are limited to 15 parents and babies so book early to avoid disappointment! The cost of the six week introductory course is £50 or £60 with a course CD. This course is most suitable for babies of around 6-12 months old.
